Facebook coming to Tampa to teach social media strategy for small businesses

The event will take place at The Cuban Club's second floor theater, and will be co-hosted by the Greater Tampa-area Chamber of Commerce.

With the rise of social media, businesses have been able to extend their brand and their message with the click of the button, resulting in more growth and opportunities," U.S. Representative Mario Diaz-Balart told Saint Peter's Blog. "By attending this event, business owners will be able to bring their companies to speed with the latest and greatest promotion tools offered by Facebook."

According to Facebook's statistics, there are over 2 billion connections between its users and local businesses. Businesses can harness the power of these connections to improve customer perception of their brand, strengthen customer relationships and expose themselves to new audiences.
